I’m Zulayka Esmeralda Martis and I’m the Founder of ZEM, an events and marketing management company, designed for you and your business. The company was founded on the principle that it’s not enough to simply be present; you have to be engaged.

I design events. I design experiences. I design the moment.

Helping people have the best time ever has always been my passion. Now I can create events that make people’s day and leave them with the most memorable experiences. Our mission is to make events – both big and small – unforgettable by bringing companies, employees and customers together. I consistently strive to make sure that everyone who attends our events feels like they are being listened to, understood, and heard.

BORN TO CONNECT THE WORLD
I was born in Curacao, lived in New York, all under the age of 5 and then moved to The Netherlands where I was raised and have since continued to live.
After a successful 20-year career in IT as a Global Events Marketing Manager, I decided to pursue my true passion: Event Design. As a Certified Event Designer, of only 330+ certified event designers worldwide, I get to plan events with a focus on the customer journey. From dreaming up the perfect theme to executing all the little details with care.
Based in the Netherlands, ZEM has established a strong network of proven affiliations with venues, tour guides and transport/chauffeur providers.

That’s my philosophy for all participants, not just the event itself, but also creating excitement before and after the event. Building anticipation and engaging the celebration of all the senses to leaving a lasting impression with guests.
